The City of Santa Monica and Sustainable Works Invite You to the Sustainable Landscape Expo
Check out the new growing space, conveniently located next to the Miles Memorial Playhouse. The garden will be serving as a demonstration garden for implementing low water systems for Pollinator Friendly Plantings as well as Edible Crops.
- Learn how you can save water and money with Santa Monica's Landscape Rebate Programs
- Meet Professional Landscape Architects who will be available to answer questions about design and firescaping
- Discover the best ways to add trees to your landscape and care for them
- Take a stroll through the new Reed Park garden and explore seasonal vegetable seeds and demonstration plantings
- Meet vendors who can tell you everything you wanted to know about irrigation and supplies but were afraid to ask
- Get a free kitchen pail* and understand how to properly sort your waste into the green, blue, and black bins, (*for Santa Monica residents only, while supplies last)
- Discover the benefits of rainwater harvesting and learn how to set up and maintain a rain barrel, conserve water and reduce your utility bills.
