\n\nThis August\, Third Street Promenade transforms into Santa Monica'\;s most charming outdoor movie theater.
\n\n\;
\n\nGather with friends at the sea of Pretty in Pink picnic tables (we'\;ll have music playing before your arrival\, so you can grab a drink and a bite from your favorite local restaurant). Then settle in beneath the stars for Cinema Nights &mdash\; a free movie series celebrating the magic of movies made in Santa Monica.

\n\nCinema Sundays\, taking place on Santa Monica Blvd.\, starts in August on Sundays at sunset. The Goonies will be screened on August 10 as part of Heal the Bay'\;s 40th Birthday Party weekend on the prom\, kicking off a 12-week movie series of classics screened in an iconic local venue that is free and open to all.

\n\nCinema Sundays at Sunset marks the start of weekly programming\, launching a new era of public life on the promenade.
