DESCRIPTION:Join us for our third annual Endless Summer C.A.M.P. at Tongva Park!\n\n \n\nAttendees are encouraged to pack a picnic\, blankets\, and beach chairs and enjoy a Saturday afternoon featuring a variety of music\, dance\, and performance from Los Angeles. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the music and beauty of Tongva Park\, and participants can also craft something special to take home with them at our free\, hands-on workshop. Tongva Park's amenities include a splash pad\, playground\, ocean observation deck\, public art\, and 100+ species of plants. Attendees can make a day in Santa Monica and explore local businesses and restaurants in nearby Downtown\, 3rd Street Promenade\, the Pier\, and Main Street.\n\n \n\n11:30am: Pacific Opera Project presents Cinderella Story\, an impossibly magical\, mash-up opera. This production is funded in part by a generous gift from Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation.\n\n \n\n1:00pm: Masanga Marimba plays upbeat\, family-oriented music that everyone will enjoy! This unique 9-piece band plays Latin\, Pan African\, and American music on 7 Zimbabwean-style marimbas\, mbiras\, drums\, trombone\, and trumpet.\n\n \n\n11am - 2pm: Bubblemania and Company Bubble party and Hands-on workshop with reDiscover Center\n\n \n\nProduced by Community Arts Resources (CARS)\, in partnership with the City of Santa Monica. Endless Summer C.A.M.P. is made possible by Art of Recovery.
