DESCRIPTION:Storyectomy* Real\, Raw & Revolutionary Storytelling Classes\n\n*Get your story out\n\n\n\nUnder the umbrella of Storyectomy*\, Baby Bumps is a community-driven mental health initiative using the art of storytelling and comedy to bring light\, love\, and healing to those affected by mental health conditions during their parenthood journey (e.g. postpartum depression\, anxiety\, OCD\, psychosis\, and beyond).\n\n\n\nAfter meeting at The Crow for six weeks\, students will tell their stories in a personal and effective way through Nicole Blaine's teachings as a comedic storyteller. The final storytelling show features students alongside professional comedians. As the program expands\, we will have our performers share their stories at walks\, fundraisers\, and beyond. \n\n\n\nAll Donations & Proceeds will go to Maternal Mental Health Now.\n\n?Admission to Storectomy* Baby Bumps is donation-based. Please make a charitable donation to reserve your seat!\n\nMaternal Mental Health NOW grew out of one woman's ordeal. After the birth of her daughter\, Kimberly Wong\, Esq. suffered from such severe postpartum depression that she wanted to end her life. Despite good healthcare and strong familial and social support\, she struggled to find informed help. Kimberly formed a group in 2007 that would become Maternal Mental Health NOW\, a project of 501(c)(3) Community Partners.\n\n\n\nHeal with us. Healing comes from release.\n\nWatch the students of the Storyectomy program and professional storytellers/comedians share their stories.
