DESCRIPTION:The Sustainable Quality Awards have been celebrating sustainable business practices for over 25 years. Businesses that are members of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce or located in Santa Monica\, are eligible for nomination\, followed by completing a rigorous application which is reviewed by a team of Chamber\, City and community representatives to determine annual award winners.\n\n\n\nBusinesses may apply in any or all of the three categories: Stewardship of the Environment\, Economic Development\, and Social Responsibility. Businesses achieving excellence in all three categories will be awarded the grand prize.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a virtual celebration of the 2022 winners:\n\n \n\nSQA Grand Prize\n\n \n\nKite\, a Gilead Company: is focused on the cure. Kite's singular focus is on cell therapy -- the use of genetically modified immune cells programmed to target tumors -- which they believe has the potential to change the way cancer is treated.\n\n \n\nSweisKloss: is a full-service boutique firm specializing in building design\, interior design and construction. Residential projects include ground-up new build homes\, additions\, and full renovations.\n\n  \n\nUntitled No. 1 School: is a full-day community preschool for families evenly spread across income levels.  Children are taught in a nature-based setting with a high ratio of teachers\, all of whom attend to various aspects of development.
