DESCRIPTION:Westside Ballet of Santa Monica presents "Masters of Movement: Ballet through the Centuries" a richly varied program showcasing the nonprofit company's pre-professional dancers\, alumni\, and guest artists at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage.\n\n\n\nThe Saturday evening Gala features  an extraordinary convergence of ballet's present and future stars. The Saturday evening Gala showcases New York City Ballet principals Tiler Peck currently featured in Prime Video's acclaimed series  toile and Roman Mejia\,  performing Jerome Robbins' celebrated "Other Dances" with live piano accompaniment. The program includes another Robbins masterpiece\, "Circus Polka\," and Justin Peck's "Bloom" performed with a live string quartet. Also featured will be 12-year-old prodigy Spencer Collins\, who recently claimed the world's top youth dancer title at the prestigious YAGP Finals. \n\n\n\nWestside Ballet will honor NYCB principal Andrew Veyette\, an esteemed alumnus\, with the Bravo!
