Kaiser Permanente COVID-19 Webinar with Doctor

Dr. Alejandro Sanchez is originally from San Diego, a child of Mexican immigrants. He attended UC San Diego where he majored in microbiology and visual arts. He was drawn to the Los Angeles area because of LAC+USC Medical Center where he was an academic physician for seven years. Outside of education, Dr. Sanchez enjoys learning about diverse cultures and histories, with attention to Uganda where he has spent time volunteering at a local orphanage.

At Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Sanchez places significant focus on taking care of his patients. In his specialty, Dr. Sanchez works with a multidisciplinary care team dealing with a variety of infectious diseases. “I consider it a privilege to be a physician. I appreciate the uniqueness of everyone I see in my office and treat my patients with the attention I would expect for myself or my own family.”

Outside of work, Dr. Sanchez makes it a priority to spend time with his children every day; keeping that inner child alive and laughing. During his free time, he enjoys drawing and painting and watching sports, especially football.
