The grand opening of Tara Gallery in Santa Monica – sponsored by the American Foundation for Contemporary Iranian Art (AFCIA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting contemporary Iranian art – aims to showcase such artists and introduce them to the Los Angeles community, especially art enthusiasts and collectors at large.
Twelve artists, all living and working in Iran, are currently featured at Tara Gallery, as part of TREES OF MY HOMELAND, an exhibition of contemporary Iranian paintings that provides a vibrant and nostalgic view of motherland trees.
Join the official ribbon cutting ceremony, organized by the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce on November 19th at 6 p.m. Tara Gallery is curated by veteran art expert and gallery director Homa Taraji.
