KARMA to the rescue
No pet should have to die due to lack of resources. Ever. At least 2 out of every 3 pets are euthanized for this very reason: their families cannot afford to treat them. And 90% of pets euthanized in the shelter could be prevented with resources and retention practices, keeping them in their homes in the first place. Approximately 3 pets are euthanized every minute of every day. 365 days a year.
KARMA Rescue’s comprehensive approach to end the killing of pets addresses overpopulation, under-resourcing, and puts the “human” in humane. Our programs include spay/neuter, veterinary and training assistance, and even a humane education program to end bullying. We promise to do everything in our power to keep families and pets together.
